Clinton Middle L.E.A.D.

The end of the school year saw several L.E.A.D. graduations in local elementary and middle schools. Clinton Middle School was the first school in Anderson County to complete the “Law Enforcement Against Drugs” (L.E.A.D.) “Too Good For Violence” curriculum. The “Too Good For Violence” program was taught by Anna Hurt, the school district’s Coordinated School Health District Coordinator, in the seventh grade classrooms at Clinton Middle School each week for 10 weeks. In the ninth week, these seventh grade students had a poster contest which focused on violence prevention. On Wednesday, May 24, the seventh grade students were recognized with L.E.A.D. certificates.
