City looking at new library ramp

Clinton City Council has been working with Studio 4 Design and Wright Contracting, out of Knoxville, to redesign and negotiate the cost of the accessible entrance ramp at the Clinton Public Library.

After considering various designs, the recommended ramp is an aluminum ramp system that is compliant with the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA).

The aluminum ramp is cost ef cient and also very easily treatable, as far as ice and snow are concerned.

There are also plans to decorate and landscape around it.
