Anderson County school board recognizes CMS cafeteria staff

Clinton Middle Cafeteria staff at last Thursday’s ACS Board of Education meeting
Last Thursday, the Anderson County Board of Education honored the hard work and dedication of the Cafeteria staff at Clinton Middle College and Career Academy.

Clinton Middle is proud every single day of the work Mrs. Dot Dabney and her sixteam members accomplish in the Hawk Cafe.

They are all part of the longest tenured team at CMS having worked together as a unit for the past seven school years.

Each morning Ms. Dot and Ms. Loretta load breakfast on carts and take it to the bus and car lines, greeting students by name with a smile.

They provide about 200 breakfasts and 500 lunches each day.

Last year, lunch participation increased by 12%, mostly due to this team’s efforts.

These accomplishments certainly give them bragging rights and raise the bar for all of us at Clinton Middle.

This team honors “Every Student, Every Day,” remaining steady no matter what the day brings.
