Parkview’s Harper to celebrate 102nd birthday
Parkview Senior Living will hold a birthday celebration for resident Louise Harper, who will be 102 on Aug. 8.
Harper, a resident of Parkview Senior Living’s North Knoxville location on Emory Road for the last year and a half, moved to Knoxville in 1995 from Oceola, Arkansas.
She is a member of the Powell United Methodist Church, and has two children (one deceased), three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Harper worked as a medical secretary, doing transcription as a career. Her motto is “God has been good to me.”
Holly White, Parkview Senior Living’s marketing director, says, “Louise is classy, kind, and honest, and she loves people.
“To be a resident at Parkview Senior Living instead of an assisted-living or long-term care facility at her age is quite a blessing and accomplishment. We’re so happy to celebrate her birthday with her this month.”
