Nativities depict and remember the birth of Christ during the holiday season


Bishopville Baptist Church held its annual live nativity scene on Saturday, Dec. 16, at the church at 9507 Depot Road in Heiskell. The group started hosting community live nativities four years ago in Clinton at the current Dollar Tree lot in the Walmart shopping Center. At the time, there were several churches of all denominations participating each year. The group had such an overwhelming response the first year, it was asked to make it an annual event. The group held the live navity at the park near Hoskins in the Flat downtown in 2021 and 2022. This was the first year in Heiskell at the home church in Bishopville.
