Jenna Lauren Carroll
Jenna Lauren Carroll (Jenna, Mom, “Nana”), of Heiskell, went to her eternal home Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2025, and is now in the presence of the Lord.
She was born May 21, 1984, in Knoxville to Daniel M. Border and Tracey S. Rice. Jenna spent most of her childhood in Andersonville and graduated from Anderson County High School in 2002.
Soon after graduation, she married her high school sweetheart and began her “little family,” which she embraced as the most beautiful part of her life. She was a devoted stay-at-home wife and mother who also worked intermittently through the years. She was a familiar face to many as a cook at Valley Quick Pack, and recently began cleaning homes for friends and clients, who loved not only her work but the laughter and joy she brought into their lives.
Jenna was known for her willingness to do anything for anyone in need. She ran errands for friends, helped her family with anything big or small, and volunteered her time as vice president of the ACHS Cheer Booster Club. Whether at the ballfield or running errands around town, Jenna was known for her vibrant personality, quick wit and ability to make people laugh with her expressive mannerisms.
She loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed singing, all types of music, coloring, watching her favorite television shows, and getting pedicures with her girls. She cherished cabin trips with her family, quiet moments with friends, and cooking with her husband. She also enjoyed making her own detergent, and experimenting with homemade coffee drinks. Known for her unique and beautiful handwriting, she often left handwritten notes, grocery lists and “honey-do” reminders in her signature script. Unarguably, one of her favorite pastimes was spending time with her 2-year-old grandbaby, Mayson. They were mutually crazy about each other.
Jenna attended Jarnigan Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, where she stood and testified to the love of God in her life on Nov. 30, 2025.
She was preceded in death by several beloved family members and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Brandon M. Carroll; four children, Tom Matthew Carroll (Ravyn), Jake Daniel Carroll (Faith), Mollie Kathleen Carroll (Jackson), and Maggie Elizabeth Carroll (Trenton); her grandson, Mayson Carroll; and many dear relatives and friends.
