Kathy Lou Ann Rhea
Kathy Lou Ann Rhea, 65, of Clinton passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2026, at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. She was born Dec. 16, 1960, in Jellico to Jesse and Wanda Kennedy.
Kathy was a loving mother who enjoyed spending time at the beach and viewing beautiful lighthouses.
She also enjoyed listening to gospel music and was known for being a very creative and crafty person.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the father of her children, Russell Rhea, and her brother, Darryl Kennedy.
She is survived by her son, Cody Rhea and wife Kasi of Oliver Springs; daughter, Chelsea Rhea and Bryant Brumitt of Clinton; sisters, Doris Martin and husband Mike of Andersonville and Debbie McCallister of Clinton; grandchildren, Barrett and Baylor Rhea; nieces, Amy Wyrick and Beth Disney; and family friend, Jessica Duncan.
The family will receive friends Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Jones Mortuary in Clinton.
A celebration of life will follow at 7 p.m. with the Revs. David White and Jimmy Davidson officiating.
A graveside service will be held Friday, June 19, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Clinton.
