ANNA RUTH BYRGE

Anna Ruth Byrge, 80, Lake City, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2018, at Summit View of Lake City.

Anna was born April 4, 1938, to the late Fred G. and Josephine Webber Bumgardner. Anna was of the Baptist faith. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was very devoted to her family. She loved Elvis Presley, collecting dolls, and her dog, who was her baby, Dinky.

In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by: Husband, Sergeant Jackie L. Byrge; daughter, Dee Ann Byrge; sisters, Jessie L. Pride, and Jaunita Duncan; brother, Paris Bumgardner; and her son-in-law, Jonah Phillips.

Survivors: Daughters, Connie Phillips of Lake City, Linda Dabney of Lake City; brothers, Howard Bumgardner of Claxton, James Bumgardner of Clinton; sister, Arvilla Butler of North Carolina; special friend and neighbor, Ruby; many grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and many other loving family members and friends.

A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, 2018, at Pleasant View Cemetery in Clinton.

FAYE BARBER

Faye Barber, 79, Lake City, passed away Sunday, Nov. 18, 2018, at her home.

Faye was born Aug. 19, 1939, in Lake City to the late Jack and Bessie Hawkins Barber. Faye was a member of the Fraterville Baptist church. She loved music, dancing, taking care of people and talking. Faye collected tiny trinkets and enjoyed baking.

In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by: Sisters, Kathleen Daugherty, Ruby Wilson, Helen Sharp, Patsy Burris, Pauline Harmon; brothers, J.B., Tommy and Lee Barber and Johnny Harmon.

Survivors: Special family, Amanda Rutherford and Chris, Christian, Cadence, Carli, Camden, Gloria and Jay, Paige, Robbin Braden, Joshua and Zyler Braden, Adam Huckaby and Allysa, Tammy Lafferty and family, Betty Huckaby and family, Kenny Kimbell and family; sisters, Alma Hagwood, Nancy Braden, Bessie Braden; many other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2018, at Hatmaker Funeral Home.

The funeral service is at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2018, in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. J.J. Patterson and the Rev. Danny Orick officiating.

Interment will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018, at Oak Grove Cemetery in Lake City. Family and friends will meet at 10:15 a.m. to go in funeral possession from Hatmaker Funeral home.

DELIA J. DAVIS

Delia J. Davis, 95, Clinton, passed away Sunday, Nov 18, 2018, at The Waters of Clinton.

Delia retired as a payroll specialist with the Veterans Administration after 34 years of service. Throughout her life she loved sewing, stuffed animals and dolls, but most of all spending time with her family.

She was preceded by: First husband, Arville Seeber; second husband, Hubert Davis; parents, John and Flora Jordan; sister, Theira Flood.

She is survived by: Daughter, Becky Brown of Clinton; sister, Alma Brummett of Oliver Springs; several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at The Waters of Clinton for the loving care given to Delia during her illness.

The family will have a graveside service at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, 2018, at Sinking Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery.

INGA COLEMAN

Inga Coleman, 47, Clinton, passed away at Hospice in Murfressboro.

Inga will be remembered as a loving person to all who met her.

Preceded in death by: Father and stepmother, Patrick Coleman and Mary Lou Coleman.

She is survived by: Children, Elidjah Jackson and Kayla Hensley; brothers, Devin Coleman and Patrick Coleman Jr.

The family will receive friends from 2 – 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018, at Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton.

Her funeral service will follow her visitation. Her graveside will be at 5 p.m. at Sartin Cemetery, Heiskell.

BOBBIE SEIBER BRADEN

Bobbie Seiber Braden, 67, Lake City, passed away Sunday, Nov. 18, 2018, at her residence.

She was born Aug. 31, 1951, in Lake City to the late Jessie and Edith Phillips Seiber. Bobbie was a member of the Laurel Grove Baptist church. She was one of the most loving and caring persons one could ever meet. Bobbie loved coloring, all sports — especially the Lady Vols — and spending time with family and friends.

She is preceded in death by: Parents; brothers, Charlie and Ed Seiber; and brother-in-law, Bill Lane.

Survivors: Husband, Larry Joe Braden; daughter, Taunya Miller and Jamie; grandson, Tyler Miller; sisters, Helen Lane, Carolyn Dacko and Ricky, Dessie Oliveria; brothers, Bob Seiber, Clyde Seiber, Lyndon Jessie Seiber and Charlene; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5 – 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018, at Hatmaker Funeral Home in Lake City.

The funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018, in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Archie Seiber officiating.

Family and friends will meet at 9:15 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 22, 2018, at Hatmaker Funeral Home to go in procession to the Oak Grove Cemetery in Lake City for a 10 a.m. interment.

FRED ‘MIDGE’ JONES

Fred “Midge” Jones, 93, Clinton, formerly of Briceville, passed away Saturday, Nov. 17, 2018, at The Lantern at Morning Pointe in Clinton.

He was born on June 30, 1925, to the late Joseph Russell and Mattie Duncan Jones in Briceville. He was the best Daddy and a source of unconditional love. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served on a destroyer during World War II. He enjoyed watching TV and reading and studying his Bible daily. He will be dearly missed.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: Brothers, Norris Jones, Lowell Jones; sisters, Betty Martin, and Sue Rivet.

He is survived by: Wife of 73 years, Mildred “Sug” Jones; son, Danny Jones and wife Barbara; daughters, Beverly “Babs” Morgan and husband Ricky, Pamela Byrge and husband David; grandchildren, Russell Byrge and wife Jackie, Matthew Byrge and wife Selina, Katelynn Jones, and Luke Jones; great-grandchildren, Grant Byrge and Elaina Manley; several nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff of Morning Pointe and also the nurses of Professional Case Management for their care during his time of ill health.

The family will receive friends from noon – 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19, 2018, at Main Street Baptist Church in Rocky Top with the funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Wayne Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at the Oak Ridge Memorial Park with full military honors presented by the Campbell County Honor Guard.

HENRIETTA ‘HEN’ (BARNES) MILLER

Henrietta "Hen" (Barnes) Miller, 67, Andersonville, returned to her heavenly home Nov. 17, 2018, after a valiant battle with a long illness.

Her devotion to family and her firm belief in God supported her in her struggle and ultimately gave her peace.

As a native of Caryville, "Hen" was a loving wife, mother, friend and member of Norris First Baptist Church. She was a retired Cosmetologist who enjoyed family, pets, cooking, and always making those around her smile.

She was preceded by: Husband, Glenn Miller; and parents, John and Charlene Barnes.

She is survived by: Son, Brandon Miller of Andersonville; brother, Wendel Barnes of Orlando, Fla.; sisters, Eva Capetta of Orlando, Fla., Elezan Stair of Mascott, Irma Adkins of Murfreesboro, Lenora Herrin of Andersonvlle; niece, Amanda Adkins; nephews, Chris and Eric Adkins, Sean and Todd Argimon, Scott Barnes.

She is also survived by Daphne Brinkley of Steelville, Mo., and LeAnn Hurst-Braden of Andersonville, both were dear friends whom she loved greatly and always considered family.

We would like to thanks Pastor David Seiber and the entire "church family" at Norris FBC for all of their support during this difficult time.

The family will be having a "Celebration of Life Service" at Norris First Baptist Church at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, 2019.

MICHAEL YARBROUGH

Michael Yarbrough, 64, Clinton, passed away at his residence with his loving family by his side on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2018.

Michael was member of Sinking Springs United Methodist Church and also attended Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army and retired from truck driving after 20-plus years of service. Throughout his life he loved fishing, going to Waffle House, but most of all spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. Michael will be remembered as a family man that had heart of gold.

Preceded in death by: Mother, Sarah Funderburk; and brother, Randy Yarbrough.

He is survived by: Loving wife, Brigitte Yarbrough; children, Jesse Yarbrough, Michelle Kelly and husband Perry, Melissa Smith and husband Jeff, Jason Kitts and wife Brooke, James Jones and wife Jennifer; grandchildren, Zack Williams, Carley Kitts, Jayden Kitts, Kendal Kitts, Molly Smith, Lofton Jones, Destiny Kelly, Phillip Kelly, Railey Kelly, and Caleb Kelly; brothers, Jesse Funderburk and wife Wanda, Chuck Yarbrough; mother-in-law, Wanda Ivey; special niece, Teresa Ivey; his friends who he considered family at Harrison’s Restaurant in Clinton; several nieces, nephews, and host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2018, at Holley Gamble Funeral Home. His funeral service will follow his visitation with the Rev. Ron Bruce officiating.

His graveside will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018, at Sinking Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery with military honors at graveside.
