Jenkins earns scholarship


Abigail Jenkins, a 2017 graduate of Clinton High School, was recently named the winner of Tennessee School of Beauty’s prestigious C.B. Brown Scholarship award. The $2500 tuition scholarship is given in honor of the founder of the school and was awarded to Abigail based on her outstanding academic record, her personality, and her extra-curricular school activities. She was chosen out of more than 200 applicants throughout East Tennessee. She is the daughter of John and Kimberly Jenkins. Abigail was in the national honor society, the Spanish Honor Society, Endurance Horse Riding Team, and is very active with the youth group at her church. Upon graduation from cosmetology school, she plans on working as a professional hairstylist and makeup artist and hopes to one day open her own salon.
