‘Waiting on the sun’


Excitement is building and students are getting ready for Monday, Aug. 21., and the solar eclipse. Third grade students at South Clinton Elementary School have been using the upcoming eclipse in their studies and learning why the event is so unique. Anderson County and Clinton City schools will be closed Monday, Aug. 21, so students may take advantage and view the event. Pictured are Ellie Bonesteel, Kennedy Cook, Addisyn Toler, and Maleah Wayman, who are making a model of a solar eclipse in anticipation for the one they will see Aug. 21.
