The two-point conversion failed but the Rams led 12-0 with 5:40 left in the first quarter.

That was all of the scoring in the first half as the Hawks defense kept the Rams out of the end zone but unfortunately for the Clinton offense, the Robertsville defense did the same to them.

The third quarter was a continuation of the first half as neither team could punch it into the end zone.

Late in the fourth quarter, Andy King scored on a 57-yard touchdown pass from Trace Thackerson to cut the Robertsville lead in half.

Just 28 seconds later, Robertsville answered in the form of a 52-yard touchdown run by Jackson.

Justyn Crowley ran in the two-point conversion to give the Rams a 20-8 lead and their defense made that score hold up as the final.

The difference in the game was the rushing attack.

Robertsville rushed for 173 yards — all coming from Jackson.

Cole Tadora led the Hawks with 10 yards on the ground.

Thackerson was 11-20 passing for 129 yards and a touchdown.

King had three catches for 102 yards and a touchdown while Conner Moody had six receptions for 24 yards.

Logan Woodard led the Hawks with nine total tackles, including two and a half for a loss. Andrew Meir had four total tackles with one and half for a loss.

King and Anthony Berg each had an interception.

The Hawks return to action on Thursday when they visit Lenoir City.
