Senators to face Hawks in TVAC Championship

The Norris Middle School Senators traveled to Lenoir City on Monday night and beat the Panthers 24-8.

The Senators dominated up front on both sides of the ball.

Bryson Vowell had a 20-yard touchdown reception from quarterback Tate Russell.

Gavin Noe scored on a 30-yard run and Anthony White scored from 15 yards out on a run/pass option.

Norris got some payback with the win. The Panthers knocked off the Senators at Anderson County High School on Sept. 14 by a score of 20-8 in a penalty-marred game.

The win moves Norris into the TVAC Championship game where they will face Clinton Middle School on Thursday at City of Clinton Field.

The Senators beat the Hawks 18-12 earlier this season in the final minute of play when White returned a punt 73 yards for a touchdown.

Kick-off is set for 7 p.m.
