Man wanted in connection with shooting in custody

Christopher Lee Roberts, 45, the man wanted in connec- tion with the Feb. 22 shooting death of 48-year-old Bradley Charles Bivens, was taken into custody Tuesday, Feb. 27, without incident. Roberts was at the home of a relative on Ridenour Circle near Clinton.

His residence is an out building on the same property.

Roberts was booked on a charge of Criminal Homicide and is being held without bond in the Anderson County Detention Facility.

The Bivens family has been notifed of his arrest.

Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call at 611 Sinking Springs Road, Clinton, Feb. 22, and found Bivens had been shot and killed.

Sheriff’s investigators obtained an arrest warrant for Criminal Homicide for Roberts the next day.
