Student voices, Student Council

Hunter Evans, Zachary Rains, Dylan Reed, and Jeremiah Turbyville

Now at Clinton Middle School, there is a new club called the Student Government Association. Ms. Kelli Hansen, an 8th Grade Science teacher, has decided to start the program after several students approached her with the idea to start a student government.

We talked to Ms. Hansen and she said, “They thought this would be a great way to voice their concerns, ideas, and dreams for the student body and our school. I also love that this program offers students a chance to grow in leadership and communication skills!

The organization will be accepting ve 8th graders, and a couple of 6th and 7th graders. They will be very accepting and will help charities and do the best they can for our school.

Until next week...
