Business and community involvement is natural for gas utility


Powell Clinch Utility District played host to a Thursday morning coffee at its Administrative Office in Rocky Top. The coffee was a joint networking session of the Anderson County , Rocky Top and the Campbell County Chambers of Commerce. “I’m proud of all of the Powell Clinch employees’ community involvement,” Rob Neil, president of Powell Clinch Utility District said as he addressed the room of business leaders and professionals. Pictured are Rob Neil, Robin Hunley - Powell Clinch Marketing Manager and current Anderson County Chamber of Commerce Chair-Elect, Melinda Wilson - PCUD LaFollette Branch Manger and current Campbell County Chamber of Commerce president, Maria Hooks - PCUD Human Resources Administrator and current Rocky Top Chamber of Commerce president, and Stephen Harris - PCUD Operations Manager and past Board Chair of the Anderson County Chamber of Commerce. “Powell Clinch Utility District’s impact on the community is more than just that of a utility company,” stated Hooks. “We’re encouraged to be a part of our community and make where we work, live and play better.” PCUD provides Natural Gas and propane to Anderson and Campbell Counties and has 67 employees at its Anderson and Campbell County locations.
