Middle school cross country teams compete in KYA Fall Classic

Several local middle school cross country teams competed at the Knoxville Youth Association Fall Classic at Victor Ashe Park in Knoxville  last Saturday.

Madison Archdale of Cedar Bluff won the girls middle school race (two-mile run) with a time of 13:55.55.

Abigail Montgomery of Norris was the top local finisher. She was eighth with a time of 14:45.64.

The Clinton City Schools Blaze also made their inaugural debut in cross country. Bralee Hall finished with a time of 20:36.00 for The Blaze. She was the only girls middle school runner the team entered so they were not eligible to compete for team standings in the event.
