Mark O’Gorman is speaker at Democratic women’s meeting
Mark J. O’Gorman, professor of political science at Maryville College, will discuss midterm elections at the Monday, Sept. 24, meeting of the Anderson County Democratic Women’s Club. The club will meet at 6 p.m. at Swifty’s Atomic Grill, 119 S. Illinois Ave., Oak Ridge.
O’Gorman, who coordinates the college’s environmental studies program, will talk about the national spotlight on Tennessee as he discusses “The 2018 Midterm Elections and the Historical Moment for Tennessee Democrats.”
No reservations for the meeting are necessary. Those attending may order from the menu.
