Pickin’ in the Park draws huge crowd

Hundreds of people flocked to Norris Dam State Park’s annual Pickin’ in the Park, an outdoor concert with food, vendors and a strong community spirit. The event took place on Friday on the east side of the park near the Tea Room.

The band Wild Blue Yonder entertained the crowd with lots of songs about opossums. It’s their popular “roadkill anthem” that is played in the band’s acoustic roots style.
