Thousands of books read

Last week, Advisory classes celebrated Computer Science Education Week by participating in “An Hour of Code!”

This is where all students use a hour of their time at school to work with and write code, or computer language, through various online games.

Students created fun videos while getting hands-on experience with Digital Arts. Teachers got in on the action as well.

“World-wide Computer Science Education Week and An Hour of Code raises awareness of jobs that are growing at a rapid rate,” said CMS Digital Arts teacher Angela Whitey.

Our dedication to STEM Education extends outside of just our math and science classes. This was an opportunity for all of our students and staff to consider careers in the modern world.
