Kids code, improve STEM skills
Clinton Middle School’s 40 Book Challenge is well underway with over 3,000 books read by our students!
This literacy initiative focuses on the creation of a culture of reading within our school and the promotion of a lifelong love of reading among our students. It allows students to select their own books and report them to their teacher via an electronic form tracked by classroom teachers.
Incentives are provided for the students including weekly drawings for a doughnut or bracelet and recognition of each student for every 10 books read. We’re excited to see just how many more books we can read as the school year goes on!

CMS Library Circulation YTD - 7,884
Books Logged School-Wide - 3,609
Top Readers - 6th Grade--Emily Myers (56 Books); 7th Grade--Emma Vaughn (45 Books); 8th Grade - Elizebeth Boor (45 Books)
