Clinton officer receives Officer of the Year award


Clinton Police Officer Austin Powell receives Municipal Officer of the Year award
Clinton Police Officer Austin Powell, left was presented with the Municipal Officer of the Year award for administering Narcan in August of this year. His actions saved the man’s life, according to Police Chief Vaughn Becker. Becker said at last week’s city council meeting that Powell had just recently received training to administer Narcan.
