Clinton Police request help in locating ‘violent’ sex offender

CECIL EUGENE McGUIRE
The Clinton Police Department requests the help of the public in locating a sex offender. Cecil Eugene McGuire, 39, has not checked in with his parole officer or left a forwarding address.

McGuire is classified as a violent sex offender, according to Clinton PD, and was convicted of aggravated sexual battery in 1995.

McGuire, 39, has brown hair and blue eyes. He has tattoos on his right forearm, left arm, right and left shoulders, and a face tattoo on his right cheek of a teardrop. He is also known as “Dog” Eugene McGuire, according to public records.

The original violation took place in November, when he was charged with not registering a new address with the Tennessee sex offender registry. He was charged and arrested, but then posted bond for $5,000. Once he left jail, he failed to register again, resulting in a new warrant.

This time, he can’t be found. He has a history of not showing up to court dates and not paying court costs.

If you see Cecil E. McGuire, Jr. or have information on his whereabouts, please call the Clinton Police Department or Detective Sergeant Danielle Alexander at:
