Alumni welcome new coach, put spring in the minds of Clinton faithful

The Clinton High School Baseball team hosted an alumni game on Saturday, Nov. 16 followed by a chili dinner.

The event was a roaring success with 17 alumni showing for the game and dominating the current baseball team. The oldest members of the alumni team to show were Gene Owens and E.T. Stamey, both from the class of 1965, followed by Alvin Taylor from the class of 1968.

Austin Lowe and Logan Bolling, both from the class of 2019, also played for the alumni.

The atmosphere was festive and happy as old friends reconnected with one another and the community came together to support Clinton High School Baseball and the new head coach, Rob Stacy.
