Manhattan Project park program: ‘Women in the Manhattan Project’
What was life like for women and female scientists during World War II and the Manhattan Project?
Join Manhattan Project National Historical Park staff as they discuss the social changes that occurred during World War II and how that affected women in the Manhattan Project. The free interpretive program will take place in the Children’s Museum of Oak Ridge inside the Imagination Gallery at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21.
The program will outline the life for women before, during, and after World War II.
This program is free to the public, but those who would like to explore the Children’s Museum will need to pay admission at the front desk. The Children’s Museum is at 461 W. Outer Dr. Oak Ridge.
