Helping students

And honoring Freddy

Lauren Burton and Grace Schrider were recipients of the Freddy Fagan Scholarship on July 20.
For each of the past five years, the family of Freddy Fagan has awarded a $1,000 scholarship in Freddy’s honor to a worthy Clinton High School graduate.

Previous recipients are (2016) Jared Ruan, (2017) James Bigler, (2018) Hope Disney, and (2019) Logan Prater.

“This year we are happy to have been able to award scholarships to two worthy students, Lauren Burton and Grace Schrider,” Donna Fagan Parke said.

“We are honoring Freddy with this scholarship while also helping students at Clinton High School get off to a good start on their college journey. In addition, we would also like to thank the entire Clinton community for their love and care that so many have shown to him throughout his 64 years.

“As I always say on Awards Night, Freddy has the ability to allow all of us to find the better parts of ourselves. So many have given him rides, bought him meals, or just shared a laugh with him.”
