Lakers down Huntsville 38-8 for fourth win
The Lake City Middle School football team beat Huntsville middle 38-8 Thursday, Oct. 1.
The Lakers are now 4-2 on the season. The team was led by a heavy dose of rushing by Anthony Karanicolas and Eli Slover, with Karanicolas punching one in for a TD.
Trent Strickland had one rushing TD and two passing TDs.
Jordan Lindsay and Dylan Hopper both had TD receptions and both had interceptions on the defensive side.
The Lakers finish up the regular season with games at Jellico on Tuesday, Oct. 6, and at home Thursday, Oct. 8, against an undefeated Oliver Springs team.
