FOP endorses Hagerty
Citing his strong record of supporting and working with law enforcement, the Fraternal Order of Police Tennessee State Lodge announced its endorsement of Bill Hagerty, Republican nominee for the United States Senate.
“I am honored to have the endorsement of the Fraternal Order of Police in Tennessee,” Hagerty said. “Our police officers put their lives on the line every day to serve our communities, not knowing if they will return home at the end of the day. Across the country, violence and anarchy are prominent in several major cities amidst calls to defund and dismantle police departments. It is wholly irresponsible and unacceptable. As Tennessee’s next senator, I stand with our law enforcement officers 120 percent, and I will work to ensure they are provided with the resources necessary to carry out their duties.”
