TORCH begins ‘Raise A Roof!’ fundraising campaign
TORCH is building rapid housing for the homeless in Oak Ridge.
The campaign “Raise A Roof!” began March 1.
TORCH’s Raise the Roof project will consist of a quadplex and duplex built on property on Hamilton Circle in Oak Ridge.
When completed, the project will enable families with children and those with disabilities to quickly have a space to call home until permanent homes become available.
It will be able to house 26 individuals at a time. The significant savings can then go toward helping with utility bills, deposits and other assistance where needed.
