Two from Norris heading to state


Ava Moody and Luke Dark
Ava Moody and Luke Dark qualified for the state track and field championships, representing Norris Middle School. Moody set a school record at 5:47.24 in the 1,600 meter run at the sectional meet, also breaking her personal record. Dark placed fourth with a personal best of 109-02 in the discus, and placed first in shot put with a throw of 44-07 at the sectional meet. Both athletes will compete at the state championship at Austin Peay University on May 24.
