Meet the Mavs Friday
The Anderson County High School football Mavericks are hosting an event Friday to introduce all of Anderson County High School’s sports teams.
“Meet the Mavs” is a community event that will be a festival-style setting. This event will showcase all of the ACHS sports teams and give the community an opportunity to meet them. It will also be a chance for student athletes to see themselves on the new ACHS jumbotron on the football playing field.
There will also be introductions of Lake City and Norris Middle school athletes, as well as Lake City and NAGAF youth league football and cheer teams.
The goal is to excite the Maverick community and showcase the sports teams while allowing ACHS students to offer activities to the youth of our area.
This event will include free bounce houses (hosted by local churches), and each sport will offer free activities for the youth (future Mavs).
