Mavs played Oak Ridge to open 2021 golf season
Anderson County High School’s golf teams squared off against Oak Ridge last week (Aug. 10) at Oak Ridge Country Club.
The Lady Mavericks won their match, 95-101.
Emma Neff turned in the low score for the afternoon with a round of 45 to lead AC. Helen Burton shot a score of 50 for the Lady Mavs, while Korey Horton shot a 53.
On the boys side of the match, ACs Ian Neff led all scorers with a 38 followed by Kadin Blevins and Matthew Ogle each with a 47, Nick Sharp and Craig Patterson each with a 52 and Dakota Williams with a 53.
With only three players available, Oak Ridge fielded an incomplete boys team in that particular match.
