CHS will host band competition Saturday
On Saturday, Sept. 25, the Clinton High School Band will host the Clinch River Classic Marching Band Competition.
This contest will be held at the Dragon Stadium, behind the Clinton Community Center.
Sixteen marching bands from Tennessee will be competing against each other in areas such as marching performance, musical performance, percussion, auxiliary, and drum major.
With all bands attending, there will be more than 700 band students performing on Saturday.
Besides the 16 competing bands, the Clinton Marching Band will perform its show.
The first band will perform at noon, and the last band will play at 7:40 p.m., with the awards ceremony to follow.
The price of admission will be $5. Please come out and enjoy a great day of marching bands.
