Child Advocacy Center fundraiser coming up
It’s almost time for the annual fundraiser for the Child Advocacy
Center of Anderson County.
The Candidates Hand In Hand For Children event will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, in the Pollard Technology Conference Center at 210 Badger Ave., Oak Ridge.
Candidates for public office in Anderson County as well as statewide each will have three minutes to speak.
The featured event will be Bear Stephenson conducting a live auction of the candidates’ favorite desserts.
There is no charge to attend the event, which is open to the public.
