The Anderson County/Clinton City Retired Teachers Association met on Tuesday, Sept. 12, at the home of V.L. and Pat Stonecipher for a barbecue picnic. The meeting began with a magic act by local talent Harley Chapeau, followed by lunch and a brief meeting to inform the group of upcoming dates. The next meeting, Tuesday, Oct. 10, at the Clinton Community Center, featured Lance McCold, executive director of the Knoxville Education Coalition.
