Sip of Summerfest planned for Aug. 1 at Kincaid House

Historic Downtown Clinton’s annual Sip of Summerfest event returns this year from 6-10 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 1, at the Kincaid House, 710 Eagle Bend Road.

This is the fourth in a series of annual summer beer-tasting events sponsored by the downtown Clinton group, and will feature beer from a variety of area breweries, along with live music and food.

There will also be a Tennessee whiskey and bourbon tasting session.

In the Sip of Summerfest, “Local breweries gather to bring the best beer to Clinton,” the downtown group says.

“Ticket price includes beer, food and music entertainment brought to you by The Ooten Law Firm.”

For 2025, the music will be provided by Lazarus Lake, described as an “alt-country, homespun Southern rock group” whose “Knoxville roots have led them to play at Southern Skies, WDVX [and], The Mill & Mine.”

Participating in the Sip of Summerfield will be Yee Haw Brewing Co., Orange Hat Brewing Co., Clinch River Brewing, Savannah Bee Company, Wiseacre Brewing Co. (Memphis), Rhine Geist Cincy-Made, Gatlinburg Brewing Co., Blackhorse Pub & Brewery, Country Boy Brewing, Creature Comforts Brewing Co., Tri-Dog Brewing Company, and XUL Beer Co.

Tickets for the

event are on sale now, and prices are $25 (for designated drivers), $50, and $81.88 (this price includes the whiskey).
