To the editor,
The horrific, tragic assassination of Christian conservative and American patriot Charlie Kirk, 31, occurred on 9/10/25. He was a husband and father of two young children whose family and friends will never embrace him again this side of Heaven. Charlie was a true believer and a devoted follower of the Lord Jesus Christ and without a doubt is with Him now in Paradise.
Law enforcement is aggressively gathering evidence about this cowardly assassin and his possible accomplices. There are strong indications of the motivation of this premeditated murderer by the inscriptions on the assassin’s rifle bullet casings. Most of the bullet casing inscriptions expressed rhetoric falsely accusing Charlie as a fascist.
Charlie inspired many young people who identified with and followed him. Thousands are joining his movement “Turning Point USA” as I write this letter. Some are repenting of their sin and believing on the Lord Jesus Christ.
On the evening of 9/12/25, his widow Ericka Kirk spoke publicly in a gracious, defiant, and powerful manner after her husband’s assassination. She said, “Our battle is not simply a political one... It is spiritual.” What manner of evil takes a man’s life merely because of his words? Whatever Charlie’s cowardly assassin meant for evil; LORD God will use for His glory and the good of those who believe according to His purpose. Good will ALWAYS prevail over evil.
Many believers and followers of Jesus Christ like myself identify with Charlie Kirk and his ideologies. Many more are joining the cause and most assuredly, his mission and message will live on. This is a Turning Point in American history.
