Briceville Center seeks volunteers

The Briceville Friendship Center, at 921 Andys Ridge Road, is seeking volunteers to help with the multiple events it holds for the community.

Over the past seven months, the center has served about 70 people per month through its food pantry.

More than 200 hot meals were served, not including the food pantry, and seven summer camps were held.

The center is looking for volunteers for upcoming events.

Movie Nights – Sept. 26

“We’ve hosted several fantastic movie nights so far, each one drawing more than the last,” the center’s newsletter stated.

Weather permitting, the center will featurean outdoor movie night this month.



Free Medical

Clinic – Sept. 30

On Tuesday, Sept. 30, the Free Medical Mobile Clinic will be at the Friendship Center, offering essential services at no cost. The center plans to share more details soon.



Alcohol and Drug Recovery Program

The center will soon be launching a weekly recovery program.

“This ministry will provide a safe, supportive place for individuals and families in our community who are walking the journey of recovery,” the newsletter stated.
