Pilot Club Arts/Crafts Fair to be held Friday, Saturday

This is the scene of the Pilot Club of Oak Ridge’s 2024 Arts and Crafts Fair at the Oak Ridge Civic Center.
The show will be held from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday (Nov. 21) and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
Showcasing local artistic talent, the event is free to attend, and will offer unique handcrafted items for sale, just in time for the holiday season.
Begun in 1977, the fair “brings together artisans and craftspeople from the Oak Ridge area and beyond,” the Pilot Club said in an announcement.
“Attendees can expect a diverse selection of handmade goods, including woodcrafts, candles, jewelry, paintings, baskets, homemade jams, needlecraft, pottery, and handmade soaps,” it said.
“Seasonal items such as wreaths and holiday decor will also be available, offering shoppers the perfect chance to find one-of-a-kind gifts and home accents.”
The Pilot Club of Oak Ridge, chartered in 1958, is part of the Tennessee District of Pilot International, a worldwide nonprofit organization dedicated to brain safety, brain fitness, and caring for those who provide care to others.
The club’s annual Arts and Crafts Fair is one of its major fundraising events, helping to support the group’s initiatives in the community.
Funds raised by the Arts and Crafts Fair contribute to local programs that promote brain health and support caregivers.
