Clinton City Schools asking parents for wellness input
Clinton City Schools is inviting parents, families and the community to share opinions about the school system’s wellness policy in a meeting at 8 a.m. on Friday, March 13 in the Clinton Elementary School Library.
“Having healthy choices at school helps keep our children healthy and ready to learn,” an announcement from Laura Roberts, Clinton City Schools coordinator of health stated. “The school wellness policy helps our school create an action plan for nutrition and physical activity at school.”
Parents who are unable to attend the meeting can email comments about the wellness policy or nutrition and physical activity at their school to robertsl@clintonschools.org.
Clinton City Schools includes Clinton Elementary School, North Clinton Elementary School and South Clinton Elementary School, but not any of the middle or high schools in Clinton.
