Clinton Rotary Club upcoming meetings
The following Tuesday lunch meetings will be open to members of Clinton Rotary Club and take place at Clinton Community Center:
• On March 24, the subject will be the Museum of Appalachia.
• On March 31, Clinton City Council member Wendy Maness will speak.
• On April 14, the speaker will be John Farris. The club will not meet on April 7.
Low vision group
to meet March 16
Do you or someone you know need help with vision loss? On March 16, the Low Vision Resource Group at the Oak Ridge Senior Center will host guest speaker Sarah Gardner, Rehabilitation Instructor for the Tennessee State Blind and Visually-Impaired Department’s Independent Living Services Program.
She will describe the in-home services for improving safety and quality of life for those experiencing vision loss.
Ms. Gardner will explain how the program works, who is eligible, and how to apply.
The meeting will begin at 1:30 p.m .in the Oak Ridge Senior Center, 1405 Oak Ridge Turnpike.
Refreshments and social time will follow the program.
The Low Vision Resource Group meets every month.
All area residents are welcome to attend.
