Clinton track teams to host youth clinic
Clinton High School may be in the midst of a busy 2026 track and field season, but that doesn’t mean the Dragons and Lady Dragons aren’t taking time to give back to the community.
On Wednesday, Clinton’s track and field teams and Coach Tim Kumes will host a youth clinic for the Clinton Blaze elementary school program.
The clinic will take place from 4-6 p.m.
“This is big for our kids,” Kumes said. “We tell our kids that it’s important to not just be a student and not just be an athlete, but it’s important to give back to the community, represent in the community and work with these kids.
“It will also make our kids better athletes because they learn when they help the younger kids pay attention to detail.”
