Clinton and Anderson County both had multiple players named to the All-District 4-AA boys soccer team.
The Dragons and Mavericks were honored by the league’s coaches on the team, which was released recently.
Clinton’s Angel Venegas was named Midfielder of the Year, while Ben Tackett and Christian Honeycutt earned first-team honors.
Andrew Vargas, Isaac Purcell and Isaiah Francisco received second-team accolades for the Dragons.
Anderson County’s Jimmy Rivera was named Attacking Player of the Year, and Brandtley Barrett was named Freshman of the Year.
Both also received all-district recognition, along with teammates Andrew Wilson and Landon Nichols.
