Library Events
These events will be at Clinton Public Library at 118 S Hicks St.:
Children’s
• Family Storytime will be on Wednesdays at 10 a.m. with weekly themed stories, songs and a matching craft for pre-K through early elementary ages. Younger and older siblings are also welcome. The themes are: Aug. 5, picnic; Aug. 12, happiness; Aug. 19, honeybees; and Aug. 27, school.
• Book Babies will be on Thursdays at 10 a.m. with weekly themed stories and songs for ages birth to age 2. The themes are: Aug. 6, picnic; Aug. 13, happiness; Aug. 20, honeybees; and Aug. 26, school.
• Music and Movement will be Tuesdays at 10 a.m. Join every Tuesday to dance and make some noise.
• Pajama Storytime will be Aug. 7 at 6 p.m. Come in pajamas for a story before bedtime.
All ages
• Computer class on Aug. 21 at noon will cover email and ways it can help you in the modern age.
• Tinker Tuesday will be Thursdays at 4 p.m. Join to build with many different types of construction toys with challenges to try and build free options.
• Board Game Club will be on Aug. 8 at 11 a.m. Join for a special Dungeons and Dragons One Shot Run.
Teens
• Teen Space will be Wednesdays at 2:15 p.m. Come hang out with friends, play Wii games and socialize.
Adult
Adult Crafty Friday will be Aug. 21 at 5:30 p.m. Join to make decoupage literary collages. Sign up online or at the front desk.
Adult Book Club will be on Saturday Sept. 5 at 1:30 with the theme “Cozy Mysteries.”
Clinch River Needleworkers will be Tuesdays at 1 p.m. and Saturdays at 10 a.m. Meet in the program room to work to textile projects.
Tennessee History Program will meet Mondays at 10 a.m. Join as the group moves county by county through local Tennessee history.
Junk Journaling Club will meet every other Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. Bring your current papercraft project and work alongside the group.
Historical Society will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday Aug. 27.
