Roots take stage at the museum

This will be the final event in ORNL Federal Credit Union’s 2026 Summer Sessions Concert Series.
There will be no admission charge, but food and drinks will be available for purchase on site throughout the event.
The performances will take place on the stage behind the main building at the museum, and those attending are invited to bring their own lawn chairs to have seating for the concert.
Free parking is available at the museum, 2819 Andersonville Highway, about two miles east of Interstate 75, Exit 122 in Clinton.
The Museum of Appalachia is a Smithsonian affiliate that helps to preserve and interpret the history and culture of Southern Appalachia through historic log structures, artifacts, and daily demonstrations of traditional skills and music.
It was established by the late East Tennessee historian and author John Rice Irwin in the late 1960s.
