Luna Isham reads to Walter, a 7-year old yellow Labrador at Clinton Public Library during its first Read to a Dog event on Sept. 14. The University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine’s Human-Animal Bond in Tennessee or HABIT program evaluated and certified Walter, and a volunteer will be bringing him to Clinton Public Library’s children’s area on every Monday.
