Fleischmann seeks re-election

Rep. Chuck Fleischmann
Congressman Chuck Fleischmann will appear on the November general election ballot in Tennessee’s Third Congressional District, having secured the Republican nomination in the August primary.

Fleischmann moves into the general election campaign with the complete and total endorsement of President Donald J. Trump, who endorsed the Congressman’s re-election last November.

In a Truth Social post, President Trump said, “Congressman Chuck Fleischmann is a terrific representative for the incredible people of Tennessee’s Third Congressional District!

“Chuck is a MAGA Warrior with a strong record of success, and compelling support from his community. In Congress, he is working hard to promote our amazing farmers and ranchers, grow our economy, cut taxes and regulations, advance Made in the USA, unleash American energy dominance, keep our now very secure border, SECURE, stop migrant crime, advocate for our great military/veterans, and defend our always under siege Second Amendment.

“Chuck Fleischmann has my complete and total endorsement for re-election– HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!”

After winning the Republican nomination in August, Congressman Fleischmann made the following statement:

“Thank you, TN-03! I’m grateful for your support and for the trust you’ve placed in me once again. Representing Tennessee’s Third Congressional District is an honor, and I don’t take it for granted. From Chattanooga and Cleveland to Athens, Kingston, and Oak Ridge, and now Dayton and Decatur, as I welcome Rhea and Meigs Counties to the Third District, this is a district of hardworking, faith-filled people, and their conservative values guide the work I do every day.

“There’s more to get done. As Chairman of the Energy and Water Appropriations Subcommittee, I’ll keep working to finish the Chickamauga Lock, to keep Oak Ridge and Y-12 at the center of our nation’s nuclear security mission, to keep TVA power reliable and affordable, and to make sure our veterans, farmers, and small businesses have a strong voice in Washington.

“Thursday was the first step, but let’s finish the job on November 3rd. Thank you, and God bless Tennessee.”

Early Voting in Tennessee will take place from October 14 to October 29. Election Day is November 3.
